Who we are
HomeFront Projects is an independent charity that enables veterans to improve and maintain their quality of life, irrespective of DVA claim status.
HomeFront Projects is a necessary extension of our sister organisation, HomeFront Australia, which was established by two former Australia Army Officers in 2016 to provide home services to eligible veterans.
Our work in this space identified the growing need for the provision of these same services for veterans who have been deemed ineligible for entitlements, whose claims had yet to be submitted, or were awaiting assessment. HomeFront Projects was created to ensure all veterans have access to life-changing home services.

At HomeFront Projects, we strongly believe in helping those who have served our country. As veterans ourselves, we understand the depth of your needs and the potential difficulty of your situation first-hand.
The DVA application process can be complex and challenging for veterans, with many caught in the entitlement gap. We work with a bias for action to ensure veterans remain connected to the services they require to maintain and improve their quality of life. HomeFront Projects deliver with a responsive and reliable service-focus, tailored to the unique needs of the veteran community, metered via practical triage of requests to address urgency and sensitivity.
We only partner with 100% licensed Australian-owned and operated businesses with a proven track record of performance excellence. While we are confident in their skills and resources, you will retain complete control over who enters your home to perform your scheduled services at all times.

How HomeFront Projects Work

STEP 1: NOMINATE YOURSELF OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW
A veteran or their sponsor fills out the application form found at the bottom of this website.
STEP 2: CASE REVIEW
Each week, applications are reviewed for suitability, level of need, and available HomeFront Projects resources. Recommendations are made to the Board of Directors for approval.
STEP 3: AWAIT YOUR DETERMINATION NOTIFICATION
HomeFront Projects staff will liaise with successful applicants and the service providers to facilitate support services.
Unsuccessful applications are reviewed up to a further six times to ensure all applicants are given the best chance for support. If the application remains unsuccessful, HomeFront Projects will notify and work with the applicant to find a more appropriate agency or provider.
